The Opportunity
We’re helping one of our long-standing enterprise clients—an innovation-driven player in the pharmaceutical services space—migrate and consolidate several legacy operational platforms into a modern cloud-native stack.
The MVP of the new system is live, key requirements are defined, and the team is now scaling to execute a full migration. You’ll join a small team of highly capable engineers and play a hands-on role in translating business logic from multiple environments into a unified platform on AWS.
What You’ll Do
- Migrate backend services from legacy low-code systems (Salesforce & Appsmith) into scalable Python/Golang microservices
- Implement infrastructure using Pulumi/Terraform on AWS
- Work closely with product managers and senior engineers in a fast-moving agile environment (2-week sprints)
- Ensure feature parity across legacy and new systems while helping identify and close edge case gaps
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support deployment reliability (Bitbucket, Datadog)
Tech Stack
- Current/Legacy: Salesforce (Apex/JS), Appsmith
- Target Environment: Python, Golang, AWS (Lambdas, API Gateway, S3), Pulumi, Postgres, Bitbucket CI/CD, Datadog
What we're looking for
- 4+ years of backend development experience (ideally Python or Golang)
- Experience migrating or refactoring legacy systems
- Strong hands-on AWS skills and infrastructure-as-code familiarity (Pulumi/Terraform)
- Excellent async communication and comfort working remotely with autonomy
- Able to work 20+ hours/week aligned to PST or CST time zones
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce or Appsmith migrations
- Background in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare, fintech
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog
