Technical Delivery Lead
We are looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to oversee complex, high-impact client projects and ensure exceptional outcomes across every engagement.
Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Remote with monthly onsite client visits in the South Bay)
Engagement Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible hours (aligned with Pacific Time)
Compensation: USD (competitive hourly or salaried engagement)

About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to oversee complex, high-impact client projects and ensure exceptional outcomes across every engagement. You will serve as the primary point of accountability for your assigned projects — owning end-to-end delivery, client satisfaction, and internal team performance.
You’ll work with global teams of Virtasant professionals and cutting-edge cloud technologies to deliver results that delight clients and elevate Virtasant’s reputation as a leader in cloud consulting and engineering.
This is a remote role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with monthly travel to the client site in the South Bay.

Core Responsibilities
- Act as the primary delivery owner and accountability point for assigned client projects.
- Manage the full lifecycle of technical project delivery — from kickoff through execution and closure.
- Define, track, and communicate project schedules, dependencies, and risk mitigation plans.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust, transparency, and results.
- Lead and motivate global Virtasant teams, ensuring clear direction and effective collaboration.
- Establish and maintain support processes and delivery frameworks within cross-functional teams.
- Ensure consistent delivery quality and alignment with engineering best practices.
- Report on delivery performance, metrics, and client outcomes to senior leadership.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience managing complex software engineering or cloud delivery projects, ideally within a consulting or professional services organization.
- Strong technical background — able to understand architecture, engineering requirements, and tradeoffs.
- Proven success managing client relationships and resolving delivery challenges with composure and clarity.
- Demonstrated ability to establish support and delivery processes from the ground up.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and modern project management principles.
- Familiarity with tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Experience establishing and reporting delivery metrics across multiple teams and projects.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong adaptability — comfortable with evolving priorities and ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Temporal workflows and orchestration platforms.
- Working knowledge of major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Background in software engineering or cloud architecture.
- Certification in Agile, PMP, or cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
