About the role
Our client is a US-based technology company focused on driving the next generation of vehicle and mobile technologies.
For them, we are hiring a Senior Backend-Heavy Full Stack Engineer to join a team responsible for managing customer profile systems, secure data integrations, and high-volume backend services.
This role is 90% backend-focused, with light frontend involvement when required.
The team operates in a highly secure, data-sensitive environment and builds event-driven systems handling large-scale data processing.

What You’ll Be Doing
Designing and building Python-based backend services
Developing APIs using FastAPI
Designing and maintaining event-driven architectures
Managing large-scale data ingestion and ETL workflows
Working with MongoDB
Deploying and maintaining AWS serverless services
Supporting secure B2B API integrations
Improving reliability, performance, and system scalability

You deeply understand the client profile and integration architecture
You independently design and ship backend features
You improve data flow reliability and performance
You demonstrate strong production ownership
You contribute to architecture and system improvements
Required Experience
Backend (Critical)
Strong experience with Python
Hands-on experience with FastAPI
Deep understanding of event-driven architecture
Experience handling high-volume data systems
Databases & Data
Strong experience with either MongoDB or DynamoDB
Experience designing schemas and optimizing queries
Familiarity with ETL design patterns
Cloud & Infrastructure
Experience with AWS (Lambda, serverless architecture)
Experience with Apache Airflow (preferred)
Understanding of monitoring and observability
Frontend (Light Requirement)
Some experience with React
Comfortable making minor frontend updates when needed
Nice to haves
Working knowledge of Lexbots, Bedrock, Eventbridge, SNS/SQS, logging frameworks and monitoring tools (Datadog/Splunk)
Working knowledge of OpenSearch.
Familiarity with Apache Airflow.
