Sr. Workday Financials Consultant (6-months 1099 contract, USA-based only)
Six-month contract (1099) to migrate from Oracle EBS to Workday Financials, USA-based (Boston area preferred)

About the role
Our client is a US-based technology company focused on driving the next generation of vehicle and mobile technologies.
For them, we are hiring a Senior Workday Financials Consultant for a 6-month contract.
The Workday Financials SME will work directly with our client's accounting lead and System Integration Partner on the functional design, configuration, and validation of Workday Financials modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, etc.) during our transition from Oracle EBS. You will act as the primary liaison between the accounting department and technical implementation partners to ensure data integrity and process efficiency.
Crucially, you will partner directly with existing legacy system SMEs to map current business processes, identify future functional requirements, and ensure the seamless alignment of the Workday configuration with evolving organizational needs and future-state business objectives.
Our client is looking for individuals who are actively using Workday Financials and are considered experts in using all modules to their full potential, including automations and rules-based decision-making. You should ensure the team considers best practices in utilizing the Workday platform and assist in rolling out and training as appropriate.
➡️ This is a temporary role (6 months), under a 1099 independent contract agreement, to ensure a successful migration from Oracle EBS to Workday Financials. Whilst there is a possibility of the contract being extended for another month or two, it is not the most probable scenario. ⬅️
